The Grand Passage Sportsmen was initiated to build on the history and love of the outdoors, and provide a grand passage of hunting and fishing to the younger generations. Through outdoor sports our local youth can learn important virtues such as patience, respect ethics, conversation, confidence, responsibility, and emotional control. Utilizing funds raised during Big Give, the Grand Passage will look to grow the youth events held throughout the year, while also providing support for other youth activities and clubs promoted by community partners.

Generosity and possibility drive the Purcell Initiative. The North Bend Economic Development committee (through the Purcell Initiative) is raising funds to help finish the new North Bend highway frontage sign that will be located on the southeast corner of the new HW30 and 79 intersection. The funds will be used to cover installation and electricity hook-up expenses as the actual cost of the sign was raised through grant partnerships.
